Partners for Sacred Places
      (the national organization)

Mission

Partners for Sacred Places is the only national, non-sectarian, non-profit organization dedicated to the sound stewardship and active community use of America's older religious properties. Partners provides assistance to the people who care for sacred places while promoting a new understanding of how these places sustain communities.

History

Partners was founded in 1989 by a national task force of religious, historic preservation and philanthropic leaders. Since then, Partners has served several thousand congregations and other local organizations and represents the needs and concerns of over 100,000 older, community-serving sacred places in every town and city across America.

St. James Heritage Breakfast - March 7

                              - following the 9 AM liturgy

In preparation for our Heritage Breakfast on Sunday, March 7, we ask you to help us by sharing your memories and ideas. Each week during Lent, we will pose a question for your response. There are no rules: Tell us what you want us to know. You needn’t sign your name – it’s up to you. Place it in the collection plate; give it to Father Scott or any Vestry member; drop it through the office mail slot or send it by e-mail to rectorstjames@gmail.com. Write as much as you wish or as little – just tell us what you think. Thank you!
